1962 FIFA World Cup

The seventh FIFA World Cup was held in Chile at 1962 from 30 May to 17 June. It was won by Brazil, who retained the championship by beating Czechoslovakia 3–1 in the final for their second title. 16 teams are participated in 1962 world cup.

Four cities hosted the tournament:
1. Arica, Estadio Carlos Dittborn
2. Rancagua, Estadio El Teniente
3. Santiago, Estadio Nacional
4. ViƱa del Mar, Estadio Sausalito
